Children (0-15)
Children under 5 travel travel free
There are no restrictions on the number of children under five who can travel for free with each fare-paying adult, concessionary pass holder or young person.
Children aged 5-15 will be entitled up to 50% discount on all tickets across the West of England (Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare & Wells).
We would advise all older children to a get a (free) First Photo ID pass as proof of age. If the driver can't be sure how old they are, and they are not able to produce one of these, they may be required to pay a full adult fare, so it's in their interests to have one.
Photo IDs are valid for one year from the date of issue.
We will always store personal details securely. We’ll use them where they are necessary to provide the products and services that you have requested. Our Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which any personal data you provide to us will be processed.
To request a first photo ID card please use the form below or visit a First travel shop with a passport photo and proof of age.
