Children under 5 travel travel free
There are no restrictions on the number of children under five who can travel for free with each fare-paying adult, concessionary pass holder or young person.
Children aged 5-15 will be entitled up to 50% discount on all tickets across the West of England (Bristol, Bath, Weston-super-Mare & Wells).
We would advise all older children to a get a (free) First Photo ID pass as proof of age. If the driver can't be sure how old they are, and they are not able to produce one of these, they may be required to pay a full adult fare, so it's in their interests to have one.
Photo IDs are valid for one year from the date of issue.
To request a first photo ID card please use the form below or visit a First travel shop with a passport photo and proof of age.

First Day Group tickets allow up to 5 people, unlimited travel all day until 4.
Young Person (16-21) & Students
Young people (16-21) and students (of any age if in full time education) can get up to 30% discount on all tickets across the West of England.
Enjoy unlimited travel on most bus and all rail services in Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
