Changes to buses from 15 September 201921 Aug 2019 all areas
Many Cornwall by Kernow bus timetables will change from 15th September 2019. Most are directly related to a change from Summer to Winter times.
The changes are summarised below with the full detail being contained in the timetables which you can download below, or in the full Kernow winter timetable guide.
A1 Penzance | St Buryan | Porthleven or Sennen Cove | Land’s End
Mondays to Saturdays - every two hours.
Until 26 October two buses each day will continue from Land’s End to St Just, Zennor and St Ives on route A3. The A3 will back again from 5 April 2020.
A2 Penzance | Marazion | St Ives Holiday Village | St Ives
Two buses each day until 26 October and again from 5 April 2020. Both buses will continue from St Ives to Zennor, St Just and Sennen Cove to Land’s End on route A3
A3 St Ives | Zennor | St Just | Sennen Cove | Land’s End
Two buses each day until 26 October and again from 5 April 2020.
A4 Newquay | St Agnes | Portreath | Gwithian | Hayle | St Ives
No buses in the winter months except for a limited service between Hayle Towans and St Ives until 18 October and again from 14 April 2020. Buses will run over the full route from May 2020.
A5 Newquay | Cornwall Airport | Mawgan Porth | St Merryn | Padstow
Mondays to Saturdays - the route will follow the usual winter pattern of buses approximately every 90 minutes.
Sundays - there will be a bus between Newquay and Padstow every two hours until 20 October and from 5 April 2020. From 27 October until 29 March 2020 the service (still every two hours) will be restricted to the Newquay to the Cornwall Airport Newquay section of route.
A17 Pendeen | St Just | Madron | Penzance | Carbis Bay | St Ives
All buses will divert to serve St Erth rail station. This will have an effect on the intermediate times of all buses along the route.
Mondays to Saturdays – no change to daytime pattern. Evening buses will no longer divert via St Ives Holiday Village .
Sundays – no change to the summer pattern except that there will be no evening buses between Penzance and St Ives

Mondays to Saturdays – every 30mins during the day and hourly in the evenings.
Sundays – usual winter pattern of an hourly service during the day but no evening buses

Mondays to Saturdays – no change.
Sundays – the usual winter service with some changes in the morning and early evening.
T3 Truro | Truro College
No changes to this college term route.
U1,U2 Falmouth | Penryn Campus | Truro U1 | Redruth U2
The only change is to buses before 0730 on Mondays to Fridays. Late buses between Falmouth and Penryn Campus will resume.

Mondays to Fridays only – every 15 minutes with extra buses at the start of the day from Falmouth
U4 Penzance | Marazion| Porthleven | Helston | Penryn Campus for Falmouth and Truro

No change but the morning and early evening A17 journeys via Roscadghill Parc will have slightly different times.

Mondays to Fridays - the 1618 from St Austell will run 30mins later to provide a through journey from St Austell College. Other journeys between 1600 and 1800 in both directions will also change as a consequence.

Mondays to Saturdays – no change
Sundays – buses will continue to run every 90 minutes until 20 October and resume from
5 April 2020. Most of these buses will be extended beyond Mevagissey to the Lost Gardens of Heligan. From 27 October to 27 March 2020 every two hours between Fowey and Mevagissey

The 86 via Perranporth will be withdrawn at the request of Cornwall Council in order to route all buses via St Newlyn East. The 85 will run every 90 minutes.

Mondays to Saturdays – will revert to the standard winter timetable omitting Perran Sands Holiday Park and with slightly less running time.
Sundays – will revert to the standard winter timetable with buses every two hours

Minor changes to adjust to the GWR timetable. A new timetable will apply from
15 December to connect with the new timetable.
102 St Austell | Mevagissey | Lost Gardens of Heligan
This route will continue with slightly altered times until 26 October. It will resume with a revised timetable from April 2020.
