The Manchester Aquatics Centre was built for the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester so has excellent facilities including a full-size 50m swimming pool, diving pool, gym and health suite. Kids will love the flumes, while adults can relax in the sauna and steam room.
Free swimming for under 17s during the school holidays between 09.00-12.00 and special fun and floats sessions from 12pm (charges apply).
Hungry ? The cafe at the centre is a social hub for family and friends to get together, so when you want to relax after your workout, class or swim why not sit down and enjoy a bite to eat. They offer a wide choice of food and drink options.
How do I find it ?
The Manchester Aquatics Centre is situated just of Oxford Road on Booth Street East, you can catch the V1, V2, which will drop you off outside the centre, please refer to our timetables to plan your journey.
