Salford Shopping Centre has around 80 stores, including many household names, for all your everyday shopping needs
For culture and entertainment right on your doorstep, Salford Quays has something for everyone. An outlet mall, seven-screen cinema, The Lowry arts and entertainment complex, places to eat and drink, as well as access to loads of river based activities. Don’t leave it for the tourists!

Just across the river, Trafford has one of the largest shopping centres in the UK, intu Trafford Centre, and there are music venues galore and dozens of museums, galleries and exhibitions in Manchester city centre, which also has more than 500 licensed premises.
The premium Vantage V1 & V2 buses travel from Manchester, through Salford, to Leigh and Atherton. If you head out west, you will travel along the 7km guided busway, opened in 2016, or head into Manchester and across the city, along Oxford Road as far as the MRI hospital.
