West Yorkshire Bus Alliance Customer Promise
West Yorkshire bus services that are more reliable, easier to use, customer focused and better for the environment are the key aims of the West Yorkshire Bus Alliance initiative launched on 24 March 2017
One element of the West Yorkshire Bus Alliance is the Customer Promise, a committment by First West Yorkshire, Arriva Yorkshire and Transdev.
How will the West Yorkshire Bus Alliance Customer Promise work?
- If you're unhappy with your First bus journey, you can claim a free travel voucher.
Simply contact us by telephone on 0345 646 0707 (lines are open from 7am to 7pm Mon-Fri and 9am-5pm at weekends and on bank holidays) and we'll arrange for a free travel voucher to be sent out, for use on a future date.
(We'll fulfil this using our First Bus App where possible.)
- If the last bus doesn't arrive within 20 minutes of the scheduled time, you can call a taxi to get you home
You'll need to get a receipt from the taxi driver and you can claim the cost from us - please contact us via our contact form and we’ll send you instructions on how to claim.
Thousands of items of lost property are left on our buses each year; so if you have lost property on the bus you are not alone.
At First West Yorkshire we want you to have a safe, reliable and high quality journey every time you travel.
The Metro Travel Centre in Leeds City Bus Station can provide you with timetables, information on bus travel and fare information.
