Coronavirus - COVID19: Service information
From Monday 30th March, the following changes will take effect:
West Yorkshire services
First West Yorkshire is moving all services to a special timetable from Monday 30 March to ensure key workers, including health service and emergency workers, can get to and from their places of work and those who need to can still collect medical prescriptions or do their essential shopping. Services will begin at the usual weekday morning times with varied frequencies through the day and comprise the Sunday timetable during off-peak periods.
Leeds Park and Ride
Will stay as a weekday timetable but with a 10 minute frequency instead of the 7/8 at peak. However this is subject to change - see below.
Leeds P&R update: Due to a significant drop in the number of cars using the 2 Park and Ride sites; from Monday 30th March Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Combined Authority and First West Yorkshire have agreed to close Temple Green Park and Ride and consolidate all current users into one site Elland Road from Monday until further notice.
Elland Road will operate normal Monday to Friday start and end times, the frequency will reduce to 15 minutes in the middle of the day but stay at 10 minutes at peak (see forthcoming timetable for details).
For those key workers who were using PR2 outbound towards Cross Green, they will be able to use the 15 which will operate from Boar Lane stop T1 starting at 0603 and then every 60 mins.

Why are our service levels changing
Due to unprecedented circumstances, we are reviewing our service levels on an ongoing basis, in a coordinated move across all bus operators in the West Yorkshire Bus Alliance.
With many people now being told not to go to work, not to socialise and to avoid using public transport we’re reviewing our service levels in line with customer demand. We have moved to a Saturday service timetable as we’ve seen a significant drop in the number of customers on our buses in the last week and we expect to see it drop even further as tighter controls are places upon the public.
That said we still understand there is a need for our services, to help key workers and members of the community who rely on buses. Which is why we still have many buses running across the network.
If there any key workers not able to get to work due to the changes, please let us know and we can look to try and make amendments.
