Elland Road Park & Ride Extension - 2019
Elland Road Park and Ride has been hugely successful in reducing the number of cars travelling into the city. Demand can sometimes be greater than the 800 spaces provided, so we are expanding the site to provide an extra 550 spaces, creating 1,350 spaces in total in response to public demand. This will provide spaces for existing users and also encourage others to use Park and Ride.
How many additional parking spaces will be created?
An additional 550 car parking spaces will be created, increasing the total number of spaces available to 1,350.

Will the construction activities negatively impact the local road network?
All construction vehicles will enter the site via Lowfields Road and there will be no work or traffic management on Elland Road ensuring traffic along this route will not be adversely affected by the construction activities.
