Changes to Network Norwich Blue Line 25|26 services - from 15th September 2019
From Sunday 15th September 2019, we’re making a number of minor changes to Network Norwich Blue Line 25|26 bus services.
Riverside & Rail Station - City Centre - Unthank Road (25) or Earlham Road (26) - UEA - N&NU Hospital (26)
To coincide with the start of the new University year, we will be operating an enhanced timetable on Blue Line 25, with a journey up to every 10 minutes throughout the day from Monday to Friday, with extra buses at peak times.
All Blue Line buses will operate a standard daytime route at the Rail Station/Riverside with buses travelling via Prince of Wales Road, Riverside Road, then serving Albion Way/Morrisons and returning to the city via the Rail Station Forecourt (the current Blue Line 25 route). In the evenings, from approximately 7pm, all Blue Line buses will use the stops on Thorpe Road for the Rail Station and will not serve the station forecourt or Albion Way/Morrisons.
Unfortunately, due to the extremely low numbers of people travelling, and the prolonged road closure around the football ground, Blue Line 26|26A buses will no longer serve Carrow Road, Canaryfields or Wherry Road.
Blue Line 26 buses terminating at the University will go via Fiveways roundabout and enter through the Earlham Park Gates.
Chancellors Drive will be closed for building work so buses will NOT be able to call at those stops from 15th September until January 2020. During this time ALL Blue Line 25 buses terminating at the University will also go via Fiveways roundabout and enter through the Earlham Park Gates.
There will be timetable changes to most journeys on Blue Line 25|26|26A.
