Changes to Yellow Line 28 | 29 - from Tuesday 3rd April 2018
As part of our introduction of our NEW Yellow Line X29 Norwich to Fakenham service, we will be making some changes to the timetable of all Yellow Line buses from Tuesday 3rd April 2018.
As well as to allow us to add Fakenham and the villages between there and Taverham to our Network Norwich colour-coded services, these changes have also been based on an analysis of the current Yellow Line 29|29 routes as well as feedback from passengers, drivers and stakeholders.
Buses will continue to operate along the Fakenham Road from Taverham to the city centre up to every 15 minutes during the daytimes from Monday to Saturday.
The major changes are as follows:
- NEW X29 service between Norwich and Fakenham, operating around hourly Monday to Saturday with more frequent journeys into and out of the city at weekday peak times. Buses will also operate every 2 hours on Sundays.
- We'll be adding some additional journeys into & out of the city along the main road from Taverham & Drayton during the morning and afternoon peak times from Monday to Friday.
- Yellow Line 29 buses will be extended beyond Byron Road to serve Orchard Bank and Shakespeare Way.
- Due to relatively low numbers of passengers using the service once away from the main Fakenham Road, Yellow Line 29 buses will only operate into Taverham village around once an hour during the day.
The new timetable, including buses to & from Fakenham, is available to download now from the link below.
Printed timetables will be available from all of our usual outlets, including our Norwich Travel Centre on Castle Meadow starting from Monday 19th April.
