Pink Line - Colney Lane closure13 Mar 2021 Norwich
A section of Colney Lane will be closed on Saturday 13th March & Sunday 14th March 2021 to allow for the completion of roundabout construction. This is a rescheduled closure from February which was postponed due to adverse weather.
As a result, all Pink line services will be disrupted as they will be unable to complete their usual routes.
On these dates all 11A and 12 services will terminate at Cringleford Bus interchange
From that point a shuttle, provided by Semmence & Co under contract to Norfolk County Council will provide free transport for passengers between that point and the Norfolk & Norwich Hospital.
As this shuttle will operate via the A47 and Watton Road, journey times will be slightly longer and passengers should plan their journeys with this in mind
Passenger travelling towards N&NUH - will need to alight the First Pink Line service at stand A and continue their journey on the shuttle.
Passengers travelling towards the city - will alight the shuttle and board the First Pink Line service at Stand A. First services will then also pick up as usual at the opposite stop.
(Please note that passengers boarding at Cringleford bus interchange from the free shuttle travelling towards Norwich will be required to pay the appropriate fare from that point or be in possession of a valid ticket product)
A full timetable for the shuttle is available for download below. Whilst the shuttle timetable has been designed to connect with Pink Line services and every effort will be made to do so, these connections cannot be guaranteed.
We apologise to all customers affected by this dusruption to your services.
