Suffolk One College
If you’re arriving in Ipswich by bus or train, you can use park & ride to get direct to Suffolk One College.
Buses towards One leave Tower Ramparts Bus Station at
0817, 0832, 0847, 0907 and then at 22 and 52 minutes past each hour until 1452.
The journey takes around 15 minutes.
If students are arriving in Ipswich by train they can board park & ride buses at the Fire Station on Princes Street which is a 3 minute walk from the station. Buses depart from there around 8 minutes later than the times shown above.
Buses towards the town centre (travelling via London Road Park & Ride) leave One at
0830, 0845, 0900, 0920, 0935 and then at 05 and 35 minutes past each hour until 1505, 1548*, 1603* and 1618*.
The journey takes around 23 minutes. However, Journeys marked * operate direct to the town centre and take around 11 minutes.
Service 800 buses normally start and finish their journeys at Martlesham Park & Ride, travelling via Kesgrave on the way to/from the town centre. Some journeys are extended to & from Rendlesham, Melton & Woodbridge and Martlesham giving direct connections to One college from these areas.
Getting to One using Park & Ride
One students with cars can use the facilities at either Martlesham or London Road park & ride car parks and get a direct bus journey to college. Buses that travel via One operate up to every 30 minutes on college days, with buses along the whole park & ride route operating up to every 15 minutes, six days a week.
Students, staff or visitors wishing to use Park & Ride to travel to One must have a valid ticket or pass for their journey.

The tickets above can only be bought from our Ipswich Travel Shop in Old Cattle Market Bus Station. They allow travel unlimited travel at all times on all Park & Ride buses.

2...From the First Travel Centre in the Old Cattle Market Bus Station
We're open Monday - Friday 0830 to 1400 and 1450 to 1700.
It’s really easy to buy your ONE College ticket using our mTicket app. Just follow the simple steps below and you’ll be ready to tap, show & go!
1) Download the app from your app store
2) Create an account by entering some simple details as the app prompts you to.
3) Select either ‘Norfolk & Waveney’ or ‘Ipswich’ from the list of areas available. Then select ‘Student Tickets’.
4) Choose and buy your ticket following the simple steps within the app. A parent or carer can also buy the ticket for you at this stage, using their credit or debit card.
5) When you’ve purchased your ticket it will appear in your ‘Ticket Wallet’. Then, simply open the app, open the wallet, tap on the ticket and show the screen to the driver every time you get on the bus.
Your ticket will automatically activate and expire at the set start and end dates.
A couple of things we should mention...
If you upgrade to the latest snazzy phone at any time whilst your ticket is still valid then we can move your ticket to your new phone. Just download the app onto the new device and give our dedicated mTickets team a call on 0345 602 0121 or email email@example.com. Of course, the same applies if you lose your phone - we can transfer it to your replacement in a matter of seconds.
Oh, and just so that you know…if your phone is out of battery, broken, left at home or lost, you’ll have to buy a ticket from the driver to get on the bus.
