Our Alton Towers bus service starts on the 26th of May for the 2018 season
We’ll be running a daily departure to Alton Towers on route X32 from:
Stoke-on-Trent rail station and Hanley bus station on:
Saturdays from 26th May to 1st September,
Sundays from 27th May to 2nd September,
Monday to Friday (including Bank Holiday) from 11th June to 31st August.
Buses will depart Stoke-on-Trent rail station at 0930 and Hanley bus station at 0945.
The return trip from Alton Towers departs at 1720.
Journey time from Stoke-on-Trent rail station is approx. 1 hr 10 mins and from Hanley is 1 hour. If you are booking advance rail tickets for your journey home we suggest allowing extra time as it can be very busy exiting the park.
Here are the fares for route X32, and remember you can now pay using contactless on all our buses:
- Adults £10 return.
- Young person (5 to 15 year olds) £7 return.
- Group of 4 people £30 return.
Only these tickets are valid on route X32, but if you have a FirstDay, Week, Month, 3Month or annual travelcard for travel in the Potteries or Staffordshire area you pay only £5 (adult),or £4 (young person) to upgrade to these tickets.
