Service Changes in Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend, Maesteg and Afan Valley from 1 April 2018.6 Feb 2018 Bridgend/Penybont-ar-Ogwr
Listed below are the service revisions which will take place in Bridgend, Maesteg and the Afan Valley from 1st April 2018.
CymruClipper X2 (Porthcawl to Cardiff via Bridgend and Cowbridge):
Following customer requests for earlier journeys, we will be running an earlier journey to Cardiff leaving Bridgend at 0610 on Monday to Friday. There will also be an extra journey at 0735 from Cardifff, giving customers from Cardiff and Cowbridge a bus arriving in Bridgend at 0830. We will also be adding an additional Sunday morning journey (0857 from Bridgend), arriving in Cardiff at 1000. The Sunday timetable will also be revised to improve reliability.
CymruClipper X3 (Maesteg to Swansea via Port Talbot):
Following customer comments, the 0740 journey from Maesteg (0809 from Port Talbot) will run 5 minutes earlier. The Schoolday afternoon variation is removed from timetable so that the service runs to standardised timings all day.
CymruClipper 58/X58 (Swansea to Banwen via Neath):
Timetable revised to improve reliability.
62 (Bridgend Bus Station to Pencoed via Brackla and Coychurch):
Monday to Saturday departures from Bridgend will run 2 minutes later.
63B (Bridgend Bus Station to Porthcawl via Aberkenfig, Pyle and Cornelly):
Sunday timetable revised.
70/71 (Bridgend Bus Station to Cymmer via Aberkenfig, Llangynwyd, Maesteg and Caerau):
The 0650 journey from Maesteg and the 0714 journey from Cymmer will run 5 minutes earlier to maintain
connections with service X3.
77 (Bridgend Bus Station to Bettws via Wildmill):
Monday to Saturday running times adjusted to aid punctuality as a result of customer requests.
80 (Glyncorrwg to Cymmer via Abercregan):
Service withdrawn but see service 83 (below).
83 (Port Talbot Bus Station to Blaengwynfi or Glyncorrwg via Pontrhydyfen and Cymmer):
The Monday to Saturday route and timetable will be amended to run two-hourly to Blaengwynfi and two-hourly
to Glyncorrwg to replace service 80.
