Doncaster Ticket Changes
Changes to Doncaster Adult Weekly Tickets
From Sunday 27th October we are no longer selling Doncaster adult weekly tickets on bus.
But don’t worry – there are still lots of other ways to pay for your tickets:
1. TAP & CAP
From 29th September we’re launching a new way for you to pay called Tap & Cap. Paying with Tap & Cap gives you a faster, more flexible way to pay for your Day or Week ticket. Tap the same contactless payment card or device every time you travel and we’ll cap your payments at £2 per journey, £4.70 per day, or £16.50 a week, no matter how many journeys you make. This way, you only pay for what you use. Find out more »
Download the First Bus App, buy your tickets direct to your mobile, then simply scan when you board the bus. Find out more »

Smartcards are available to buy from the kiosks in the interchange and the First Bus Travel shop in Frenchgate, or, coming soon, you can apply online at sytravelmaster.com Web to Smart will be available from October.
4. IN PERSON
You can pay for your weekly ticket at kiosks, Payzone outlets* and at the Doncaster Travel Shop in Frenchgate. *from November.
Why the change?
Removing cash payments for weekly tickets on bus helps to speed up boarding especially during busy times.
For you, it also means no need to find change, less queuing and waiting and faster journeys, plus it helps to keep your buses running on time.
Did you know it takes 14 seconds for a passenger to pay using cash and needing change, but just 2 seconds using contactless, smartcard or mobile? That means filling a double decker with passengers using cash and needing change takes 12 minutes, but using digital payments takes only 3!
