Visit the real Broadchurch
Step into ITV’s Broadchurch… or to the locals West Bay, with First’s Jurassic Coaster!
Series 3 of ITV’s popular crime drama Broadchurch concluded over the Easter Bank Holiday, having kept us on the edge of our seats in suspense trying to guess who’s done it. The popularity has again thrown attention to the little idyllic seaside town West Bay, along First’s Jurassic Coaster Route X53.
Visiting West Bay has never been so much fun for fans of the popular series Broadchurch and you can now follow in their footsteps with a specialised map of all the popular filming locations which you have watched on your TV screen over the last three seasons.
Beauty spots include such places as Harbour Cliff Beach, where Danny’s body was found at the beginning of series 1, Salthouse Fields and the Seafront, where you can enjoy different activities with your family, including donkey rides and crazy golf. Broadchurch Café is an idyllic spot to stop and get a nice pot of tea giving you a break from all that exploring.
Find your way around WestBay and visit the real places that exist behind the TV series, with the: Broadchurch trail map.
Getting to West Bay is not as intense and as nail-biting as the series, simply hop on the Jurassic Coaster Route X53 at either Weymouth Kings Statue or at Bridport. Sit back and enjoy the amazing views that the route has to offer.
