From Saturday 27th January, there will be revisions to the diversions for the roadworks on Lendal Gyratory.
Services 3 and 9
Will revert to normal route
Services 4, 6, 59 and 66
Remain on diversion
These diversions will remain in operation until further notice but may change again as we assess the extent of the disruption.
Towards Clifton Moor – Buses will turn right directly from Rougier Street onto Lendal Bridge so the gyratory can be avoided
The stop at Station Avenue will not be served
Towards University – Normal route will be operated
Services 4 and 59
Normal route to Blossom Street, then right onto Nunnery Lane additionally serving the first stop, left onto Tower Street/Clifford Street then normal route back to site/Acomb
Customers are advised that Blossom Street is the stop for the Railway Station and Rougier Street
Inbound stops at York Railway Station, Rougier Street and Micklegate will not be served
Normal route to York Railway Station, onto Nunnery Lane and Price’s Lane then left onto Bishopgate Street, onto Tower Street, left onto Piccadilly then right onto Merchantgate.
Customers wanting to board the service to the University should cross over the road (using the pedestrian crossings!) and board at the stops usually used for alighting.The normal stops towards University at Nunnery Lane, York Railway Station, Rougier Street and Micklegate will not be served.
