Our new electric buses are now oot and aboot in Aberdeen!

We've welcomed 24 brand new electric buses to our King Street fleet, an electrifying addition to our zero-emission fleet of 25 double decker hydrogen powered buses.

These new buses with save approximately 1,451 tonnes of CO2 every year! You can also expect a comfortable experience on board with full air conditioning and low noise levels. 

Our King Street depot has also been upgraded with rapid charging points to support new buses and act as a state-of-the-art EV charging hub with a total of 16 duel-headed rapid DC charging points.

You'll spot our electric fleet throughout Aberdeen, and on the below routes:

Service 12 - travelling via Torry, Union Square, City Centre and Heathryfold

Service 20 - travelling via Guild Street, Old Aberdeen and Hillhead of Seaton

Service 23 - travelling via Heathryfold, Hilton, City Centre, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Sheddocksley
