Blaise Castle Estate

Blaise Castle Estate has much to offer the visitor throughout its 650 acres of parkland. With a deep wooded limestone gorge, dramatic scenery, and ancient monuments steeped in folklore, Blaise Castle Estate is one of the most magical and romantic areas in the Forest of Avon. With a large children's play area and a museum there is plenty to do for children as well as adults.

Ashton Court Estate

With over 850 acres of woods and grasslands there is so much to explore and do for all the family. There is plenty of open space for family games and picnics, deer park, the mansion, fantastic walks, pitch & putt golf courses, disc golf, a miniature railway and more. And don’t forget it’s also the home of the world famous Bristol International Balloon Fiesta held in August.

Royal Victoria Park, Bath

Just a short walk from the city centre is this beautiful area of 57 acres. There are masses of open space for family games and picnics and in the summer you may well see hot air balloons launching early morning and evening. It’s also home to beautiful botanic gardens, a fantastic adventure playground for kids, mini golf, tennis courts and more. Plus you can see the magnificent Royal Crescent.

Beaches – WSM, Brean, Burnham, Berrow

There are miles of sandy beaches along the West of England with something for everyone. There is the classic English seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare with its many attractions including the iconic Grand Pier. The traditional charms of Burnham-on-Sea which is a smaller resort but still with a lively beach in summer. The expansive sands of Brean, with it’s 97 metre high Brean Down headland stretching out into the sea or the quiet and wild of Berrow which is great for walkers.

Tyntesfield

This National Trust property features an ornate Victorian Gothic Revival house with stunning gardens and extensive parklands. As well as looking around the amazing house you can find walking trails, including a kids natural play trail, a café and The Cow Barn offering homemade dishes featuring ingredients grown on the estate.
