5th May 2024 Service Changes
Swansea
We're making some changes to our Swansea bus network on 5th May 2024 to make it more punctual. We are also introducing a couple of new services as a result of winning tenders from local authorities.
Check the drop-down boxes below for more information on the services that are changing, complete with downloadable timetables. We have also included a list of our Swansea services that won't be changing on 5th May 2024.
Revised timetable: The service 2/2A timetable will be revised from 05 May 2024 to aid punctuality.

Service 3
Service withdrawn: From 05 May 2024, the service 3 will be withdrawn. It will be replace with additional journeys on the service 3A, please see below for more information.
Service 3A
Revised timetable: The service 3A timetable will be revised from 05 May 2024 to aid punctuality.
Increased frequency: From 05 May 2024, the service 3A will operate every 30 minutes instead of every 60 minutes to replace the withdrawn service 3.
Change of operator: Sunday evening journeys (departing Swansea at 19:50, 21:20, 22:50 and those departing Bracelet Bay at 19:02, 20:27, 21:57) will no longer be operated by First Cymru, another operator will operate these instead. First Cymru tickets will be accepted by the new operator.

Service 4

Service 4A
Revised timetable: The service 4A timetable will be revised from 05 May 2024 to aid punctuality.
Change of operator: Sunday evening journeys (departing Swansea at 19:50, 21:20, 22:50 and those departing Morriston Hospital at 18:59, 20:29, 21:59) will no longer be operated by First Cymru, another operator will operate these instead. First Cymru tickets will be accepted by the new operator.

Additional journey: A new early morning journey departing Port Tennant at 06:25 will operate on Monday-Saturday from 05 May 2024.

New service: The service 14 will be operated by First Cymru from 05 May 2024 as a result of winning tenders issued by Swansea Council. Prior to this date, the service 14 was operated by a different bus company.
Overview of service: The service 14 connects Swansea to Pennard Cliffs via Mayals, Bishopston and Kittle. It will operate every 90 minutes (Mon-Sat). The Sunday service 14 will be operated by a different bus company.

Revised timetable: The service 16 timetable will be revised from 05 May 2024 to aid punctuality.
Additional journeys: From 05 May 2024 First Cymru will operate all Monday to Saturday evening journeys (those journeys departing Swansea and Pontarddulais between 20:00 and 23:30).

New service: The service 24 will be operated by First Cymru from 05 May 2024 as a result of winning tenders issued by Swansea Council. Prior to this date, the service 24 was operated by a different bus company.
Overview of service: The service 24 connects Swansea to Morriston Hospital via Treboeth, Caemawr and Morriston. It will operate every 60 minutes (Mon-Sat).
